About ArizonaNativeNet

ArizonaNativeNet is a virtual university, designed for use especially for Native American communities. It is a higher education, multifunctional, outreach and distance learning telecommunications center/network/web-portal entry page, developed and produced by The University of Arizona through a multi-unit, inter-disciplinary partnership led by three of the UA's most-highly regarded Native American programs, the Native Nations Institute for Leadership, Management and Policy at the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy, the Native Peoples Technical Assistance Office, and the Indigenous Peoples Law and Policy Program at the James E. Rogers College of Law.

NNI, NPTAO, and IPLP have earned world-class reputations for focused excellence, leadership and quality in developing innovative outreach, applied research, service and training programs devoted to the higher educational needs of Native American communities in Arizona, the United States, and the world. Now, these three programs have focused their collaborative energies, talents, and applied research and knowledge on the problem of overcoming the digital divide between Native Nations in Arizona and the higher education resources, knowledge and expertise of The University of Arizona.
